On March 22nd, you have a chance to help bring an end to the appalling trophy hunting trade.
Trophy hunting is cruel, barbaric and archaic. An opinion poll by Survation shows that 9 out of 10 voters want a ban on trophy imports brought in now.
A bill banning trophy hunting imports was passed UNANIMOUSLY in the House of Commons last year - only to be BLOCKED by a tiny handful of Lords.
An identical bill is now coming back to the Commons on March 22nd. It is imperative that MPs throw their full support behind it – and ensure that it becomes law as soon as possible.
HUNDREDS of animals have died at the hands of British trophy hunters since 2019. Their sick trophies include the heads and feet of lions; the bodies of bears; the feet of elephants and giraffes; the tusks of elephants and hippos; and the skins of leopards and zebras.
PLEASE CONFIRM THAT YOU WILL BE BACKING THE BILL ON MARCH 22ND.
At the next General Election, I will be voting for the party that has done the most to stop this evil trade.
