Tell Keir Starmer to keep his promise and ban hunting trophies NOW!
British trophy hunters are shooting giraffes, bears, lions, elephants, monkeys, zebras and leopards… for ‘fun’.
They then bring home their bodies, heads, feet, ears, tusks, skulls & other ‘trophies’ to show off.
At the 2024 General Election, Labour promised to ban sick hunting trophies.
NOW, though, it’s saying there is no date for the ban…
Tell Keir Starmer to keep his promise and stop the slaughter!

A Special Message from Dr Jane Goodall (RIP)
In this recorded message, Dr Jane Goodall shares her plea to help create a world where animals are safe from the cruelty of trophy hunting.
10 Key Facts About Trophy Hunting
1. Around 30,000 endangered animals are killed by trophy hunters every year. About 60% are shot by Americans.
2. Hunters from just 12 European & North American countries kill 90% of all trophy animals.
3. The most popular animals are bears, followed by monkeys and elephants. Giraffes, lions, hippopotamuses and leopards are popular too.
4. Hunters’ trophies include bodies, penises, feet, ears, and (elephant) trunks.
5. Canada allows trophy hunters to shoot Polar bears. Russia and the US have banned this.
6. Trophy hunters are allowed to kill critically endangered animals such as Black rhinos.
7. Wildlife populations have collapsed by 73% since 1970. Numbers are increasing in countries like Kenya, India and Costa Rica where trophy hunting is banned.
8. Photographic safaris generate far more money for conservation and local communities, and generate far more jobs too.
9. Trophy hunters who shoot over 100 different animals get a special prize from the industry. Hundreds of hunters have been given this award.
10. Opinion polls in Africa, Europe and North America all show huge majorities opposed to trophy hunting – including in the USA.

A message from Priscilla Presley
“Ten years ago, the world learnt about the horrifying killing of Cecil the lion by an American dentist, Walter Palmer. Today the terrifying scale of killing – even of endangered animals – continues with the tacit blessing of governments and official bodies. Policymakers have had 10 years since Cecil was killed to act. They have no more excuses. Thanks to the Campaign to Ban Trophy Hunting, the facts about this evil ‘sport’ are laid out as plainly as could be.”A Message from Seretse Ian Khama, President of Botswana (2008-18)
A Message from Senior Maasai Elder
Why Trophy Hunting Should Be Abolished
The Campaign to Ban Trophy Hunting is working tirelessly to end this sick sport for good.
