Action for Elephants UK

We joined Action for Elephants in London on April 13th

This was one of the many Global March for Elephants and Rhinos which has protests all over the world on the same date each year.

WRATH fb logoWorldwide Rally Against Trophy Hunting is part of the fabulous Compassion Works.

They have been tirelessly exposing the horrors of trophy hunting by protesting the awful auctions held by Safari Club International throughout the year.

Find out if there is one happening near you. Join the protests!

Partners Pledge

“We the undersigned believe that trophy hunting is cruel, immoral, archaic and unjustifiable.

“Humanity does not have the right to take the life of living creatures for ‘recreation’. Trophy hunting can inflict significant pain and suffering on animals. It undermines genuine conservation, brings no real benefits to local communities, and has no place in a civilised society.

“We, therefore, call on the international community to bring about an end to trophy hunting through a comprehensive international treaty – with effective enforcement measures and tough penalties for offenders – and an immediate moratorium on permits for hunting vulnerable or threatened species.

“We also call on nations everywhere to implement bans on the import and export of hunting trophies”.
